 Tips For Aptitude Test Preparation

 1: Make A Study Schedule

Aptitude Tests don't measure how knowledgeable you are in Maths, Reasoning, English, instead of your ability to use numbers logically and rationally.
Schematics. Is that necessary? I give you two reasons why a program can be useful. First, an application makes everything more realistic. Only two weeks before the exams and so much to do ?! In this way, you can also plan how many days you can study per course. A schedule is also perfect because you can keep track of your progress and see where things go wrong. Because believe me: sometimes things go wrong.

2: Find Your Rhythm

An excellent Aptitude Test rhythm is personal to everyone. For example, your girlfriend would prefer to study for hours on end, while after half an hour, you have already been distracted by a funny text message or your neighbor's grass machine. That is why it is essential to find a rhythm for yourself. I prefer to study for 2 hours and then take a break of half an hour. When my concentration is lost, I consider for an hour with a ten-minute break. So experiment until you find a pleasant rhythm!
There is no point in getting up at 8 in the morning to study when you can't even open your eyes. Some people can concentrate much better in the evening than in the morning. Usually, you should know this about yourself. Are you the type that actively studies in the morning and prefers to sit in front of the seat in the evening, or does the evening (and the extra pressure) ensure that you study better later? Then sleep a little longer and explore a bit longer in the evening for a better concentration.

3: Make Your Learning Place Suitable For Study

By this, I mean that you have to remove all possible distractions. Yes, all. Including your mobile, tablet, and computer. It is not useful to read that one comment on Instagram or watch that one video clip on YouTube, because before you know it, you are exactly one and a half hours and not a single page in your book further. I've been there. Tips? For your mobile phone, there is the Self-Control app that blocks Facebook or Instagram for a specific time, so that you cannot check it every five minutes. For your laptop and iPad, ask your parents to put them under lock and key for a few hours. Surprised looks guaranteed!

4: Combine Your Subject Material

If you are at a college or university, our school. You do not have to learn one book from the outside per subject, such as secondary school. No, because one book is of course not enough. On top of that, you get powerpoints, and you also have to make your notes during class. And yes, how do you start with this? Try to combine all your subject matter to a maximum of two: the slides (supplemented with your notes) and the book, for example.

5: Find The Structure

The structure is essential to make it easier to understand your material. If you often have to deal with long strings of text, the structure seems to be lost quickly. A tip? While studying, put the table of contents of your book next to you. For example, you can use the titles and intermediate titles in your text to see under which more significant part of the course that text falls. This is especially useful for insightful classes, such as history.
Colors make everything clearer. Of course, you don't have to mark your entire book, but if you have a structured color code of about two colors, this makes studying more efficient. I use one color for famous names, events or dates, and another color to summarize the essence of the text. Instead of entirely marking the book, it is better to underline with color for a less chaotic whole.

6: Make A Glossary

There are always names or concepts in your course that your prof expects you to be able to explain. It is therefore instrumental in making a list of terms while studying, in which you write down the definition of each semester. This way, you have a well-organized file that you can quickly view the evening before your exam. I have always had the most benefit from this tip. It may take some time, but it is worth it!

7: Motivational Mobile Phone Background

Perhaps not the most obvious tip, but a subtle reminder every time you grab your cell phone (and that's probably often) helps you get started earlier and do your best. An inspiring quote or handsome men with beards (read: Ryan Gosling) can do more than you think!

8: Pause? Move!

Are you like me and would you like to lie down in your seat during your break? Do not! Alternatively, it is much better to go outside, or to stand up in general! This way you (and your brain) get more oxygen, and therefore more concentration. Walking the dog, running or a game of badminton are perfect study breaks to give your mind a break.

9: Don't Forget To Take Care Of Yourself

There is such a thing as the 8-8-8 rule. The what? 8 hours of study, 8 hours of sleep, and 8 hours of relaxation. During the Online Aptitude Test, usually, a little more time goes to study and less to rest, but it is an excellent guide.
